OUR MISSION:

To create, produce, and provide culturally, socially, and spiritually conscious theatrical productions that engage, enlighten, educate, and enable people to celebrate and transform themselves through art, while training and allowing under-served artists and technicians an opportunity to develop their craft at a professional level. 

 

OUR GOALS:

• To effect positive change and lift consciousness’ by providing plays that are spiritual and/or educational, and carry a message of heritage and/or hope;

• Enable people to celebrate and transform themselves through art;

• Ensure that African-American history, stories, and contributions are remembered and celebrated.
• Teach and allow local African-American and other under-served artists and technicians an opportunity to train, and develop their craft at a professional level.

• Develop and maintain a diverse professional resident theater company.

• Develop and implement a youth performing arts training program whereby youth will be trained in the performing and technical aspects of theater arts, music, and dance.

• Develop and implement a "New Works" Division, thereby, giving voice to new playwrights, and composers and their creations, allowing them an opportunity to develop their skills, and providing an arena where they may have their work produced.
